We built the golf league software we needed on a Tuesday night
Leaguer started because a nine-year commissioner spent more time on a spreadsheet than on the range. It grew because every other commissioner had the same problem.
Leagues are the best thing in golf. Running one shouldn't be the worst.
A weekly league is where most golfers find their people. It's also held together by one volunteer with a spreadsheet, a group chat and a very patient spouse.
We spent a season writing down every task that commissioner did — the reminders, the pairings, the sub scramble, the dues chasing — and built software for exactly that list. Nothing more.
Today Leaguer runs seasons for clubs, associations and neighbourhood leagues across the country. The measure we care about is simple: hours handed back.
